I don't know about you, but I don't experience any kind of lag... And for [i]most[/i] people's usage scenarios, you're only going to be eliminating a single hop, i.e., the router/switch that both PC's are connected to. You [i]might[/i] could increase responsiveness by 20-30 ms. That's 0.02 - 0.03 seconds. Honestly, if you're suffering so bad you need those kinds of gains, you're not using Synergy in a typical end user environment, and likely it would only benefit a very small sub-set of users.
