Tyler J. Wilson
For some reason my computer, Windows 7, isn't sending control keypresses to my client, Lubuntu. Both are running Synergy 1.7.4. Both are connected. But when I try to ctrl+v or any other command, all it sends is the v, not the control keypress. You never quite appreciate how much you rely on Control until you can't use it. Anyone got a solution? Edit: Through further use, I discovered that I can send Control keypresses. I found this out when I instinctively tries to select several files in a folder. I still can't send multiple keypresses with the Control key, though. Like, I can Control+Click, but I cannot Control+C. Shift still works for capitalization. Edit: Edit: Okay. Now wtf... Control works again for commands but now my shift keys won't work. Da f***? Edit: Edit: Edit: Only worked briefly, now I'm back to control not working and shift key working again. Edit: Edit: Edit: Edit: And now everything works again. Why is this program so buggy?
Spencer Hackett
Bumping this thread. Windows Host, Mac Client Mac side does not take the "Shift" key send. So no Caps, No Special Characters, Passwords and punctuation are effected... Any lead on this ? Running latest update on the synergy software. *** Edit Looks like CTRL / Windows Key / Alt / Shift / While Running a RDP session doesn't send over... - Mac using Windows Remote Desktop \- doesn't send to the RDP session ( which is a Windows session from a mac ) \- Does work Locally on the Mac with Windows Key as command replacement ( Win + c/v/a/ etc) native in the OS works
