Connect through firewalls and proxies

Hi, I have a Mac and a PC/ The PC is behind a corporate firewall and authenticating proxy, the Mac is connected to a WiFi router directly to the internet. Ideally the PC would be the host and the Mac the client. I'm guessing that without getting special rules setup to allow the Synergy traffic out through the proxy this isn't going to work? There is no way I'd be able to get these rules added so is there an HTTP cloud hosted solution that the PC and Mac could connect to? Thanks
