Alan Heighway
In my current setup I have a Windows box acting as the server and a Linux Mint box as a client. My Windows box has 4 monitors, and the Linux box has one monitor. The layout is as follows: (L - Linux, W - Windows) L1_____W4 W1 W2 W3 I'd like to only have the mouse access the Linux box (L1) via to top of W1... I know in the past this wasn't possible but that was several years ago. Thought I'd take another stab at it. Any ideas? Thanks! Alan.
Ben Koenig
Currently, does your setup allow for you to access the client from the top edge of W1, W2, and W4? Once you configure that, you can define specific portions of your total width for Synergy to recognize the mouse. This should be the "Dead Corners" option in your server configuration. If you can, for example restrict Synergy edge detection to the top left 1920 pixels of your Windows server (assuming a 1080p monitor) then synergy will not respond to the rest of the top edge (W2, W3, W4). Alan Heighway
No, if I set the client monitor to above the server it only allows access from monitor W4...
