Mark Richter Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 I usually use Synergy at work to allow my Xubuntu 14.04 desktop to be the server for my Windows 7 laptop. This seems to work fairly well (without SSL only). I recently tried to use a different setup where I wanted to use my Xubuntu 14.04 laptop to be the server for my (same) Windows 7 laptop. For some reason, the laptop refused to use any server but the desktop at work. I changed the server address and it would not connect, but it insisted on trying to connect to the work desktop. I stopped the service and restarted it, to no effect. Is there a trick to using a different server than the one originally configured? Thanks.
