Terminal left open on Win7

Hello All, I recently upgraded my win7 laptop from Synergy 1.3.6 to the new 1.7.4. It seems to be working well and it resolved a clipboard issue I was having but now when I log into the laptop Synergy leaves a blank terminal window open and closing kills Synergy. It's not intolerable but I's rather it not be there. Any ideas? Glen
