Synergy Disconnection Issue When Switching MacBook Between Ethernet and Wifi

I am using synergy with:

Server: Macbook on ethernet (but sometimes wifi).

Client: Windows PC on ethernet

When i switch my macbook from ethernet to wifi,  synergy stops working. Neither host can see the other from the synergy console. My theory is that the server ip address (macbook) changes when switch from wifi to ethernet, as i get error logs from the client that look like:

```
NOTE: - connecting to '192.168.1.173':
WARNING - failed to connect to server: timed out
```

How can this be fixed?

Ideally, i would retain my connection when disconnecting my macbook from ethernet.

Okay i think i fixed this by setting the server ip from my client perspective to just the wifi ip address, and then making that static on the mac end.
