I have tied https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynergyHowto I swapped out gdm for gdm3 as another post suggested but doesn't seem to work. Any ideas on what I'm missing? TeckPriezt Posted May 11, 2020 Author Share Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) I'm running 18.04.4 LTS, there is no error message at the login screen it just doesn't start but does once I login. As for the message file I would need some help with what one to look at and the best way to display it for copy and pasting. The fact that it works once I have logged in, suggests to me that the above instructions should work, I have more than likely just missed something that is not advised in the instructions.
