I have the same problem except, to my knowledge I haven't uninstalled or changed anything with the application.  The message just started to appear after I upgraded from Mojave to Catalina.  It happens on every reboot of the iMac and is a nuisance.  Can you tell whether this is a Mac OS issue or an issue with Synergy?  Is there anything I can send that would help you to understand it, beyond what I've said?   Thanks.

Never mind, I found it!! :) As well as some other things, upon additional inspection.

/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.symless.synergy.v2.ServiceHelper.plist
/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.symless.synergy.v2.ServiceHelper
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.symless.synergy.synergy-service.plist

Can confirm that removing these files made the notification go away. All's well now. Thanks, guys!
