Michael Taggatz
I did a Debian 9 stretch to Debian 10 Buster upgrade today. Since I read somewhere that the latest version Synergy doesn't run under Buster, I installed this synergy_1.10.0.stable_b36+275cdc1c_debian_amd64.deb version (I guess July 2018) from my collection. Since I couldn't start Synergy two years ago by entering it as greeter in LightDM, I entered it in the autostart of the desktop, which also works with Buster. In the picture on the right you can see my screenshot, which is in German, so I added an English screenshot on the left. I entered the following command: /usr/bin/synergyc mpc2 mpc2 is the DNS name of my Windows 10 PC, which I use as Synergy server.
Michael Taggatz
Because it worked so well, I made a second attempt with the current software. And with an update to synergy_1.10.2.stable_b108+8c010140_debian_amd64.deb it works fine as usual after rebooting.
