Kyle Gordon
Evening all, I'm runningĀ 1.10.1 at work on Ubuntu 1904 and Windows 1903, and all is great when those two machines are together. However, I've noticed when I take the Ubuntu (client) laptop home, my PiHole instance registers a huge increase in failed DNS queries. There's about 6 a second. It's approaching 300000 over the past 24 hours, and the machine has just spent 9 hours in the office. It's always the client searching for the server. I thought maybe there should be a backoff and retry method, or subnet affinity, or something else? Is this amount of traffic normal? I've had to block these requests at the firewall as I have a restrictive data cap on my 3G internet connection. Cheers Kyle
