Synergy 1.10.2-Stable Win 10 Pro Loses Mouse and Then Finds It

I use Win 10 Pro as my server, and the mouse is "lost" at least once every 10 minutes.  It remains "lost" for 1-3 minutes.

I hear the Windows USB device unplugged sound, and then the lights on the mouse go out and there is no mouse response.

1-3 minutes later, I hear the Windows "I found a new USB device sound" and the  mouse lights up and the mouse is usable again.

I've disabled the Synergy service, but nothing seems to keep the mouse from getting "lost".

Any ideas how to fix?
