Lamija Tonka
My main PC is Windows. To my left is an iMac running Sierra. When the MAC is locked, I cannot use Synergy to unlock. I need the Mac's attached keybaord and mouse to do inputs, or use remote software to make this work. Is there a way to make Synergy work on the login screen? JSD
That doesn't sounds right. I don't have win-mac combo, but mac-mac. When my client is locked, if I move move into the screen, I can start typing password to unlock.
Lamija Tonka
I've rooted out that this issue seems to only present at the Mac's boot. Once I log myself in on that PC, it goes to working. So I probably need to figure out how to start the service before a user logs in to solve this problem. I've not yet looked at how to do this. Any input you can provide would be handy.
JSD
Oh, I forget that part. In normal installation, synergy run within the user account, and will work inside user lock screen. However, it is not running before user login. There is old instruction to do it: https://web.archive.org/web/20150511090759/http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/autostart.html But I am not sure if it work for the current version.
