bug: network disconnect/reconnect loses client until log off

Host: Windows 7, SP1 (x64)
Client 1: Windows 7, SP1 (x86)
Client 2:  Windows 7, SP1 (x64)

Issue: Client 2 is lost from the host, image for client shows grayed out.

To reproduce:

1. disconnect client 2 from network
2. reconnect client 2 to network

Fix:

1. Log off user account on client 2
   (right after log off, client 2 shows back up)
2. Log in to same user account on client 2
