Synergy GUI GPU usage

I'm not sure in which version this was introduced but I've noticed every once in a while the synergy GUI (2.0.12) will start using a massive amount of gpu resources. I have a 1080 TI and am seeing 50% usage by just having the GUI open and idle, and it goes to 0 after being closed. With normal use it will jump between 0 and 12% when open and switching between my computers, so this appears to be a rogue occurrence. Not sure if I am the only one seeing this but I hope it can be addressed.
