Tweaker Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I'm really interested in the Synergy project and had a couple of technical questions before I purchased it. My configuration ---------------- I have a laptop that has a 24 inch monitor attached to it (sits to the left of the laptop). I do use the monitor of the laptop. I use a keyboard and mouse to control this laptop. I have another computer that has a two monitors setup with it. I use a separate keyboard and mouse to control this computer. Questions --------- Can Synergy be used to share one set of keyboard and mouse between both laptop and computer? I have AutoIT scripts that uses mouse coordinates. How will Synergy effect it? Are the screen dimensions affected in any way or do each computer maintain the 0,0 - 3839, 1079 position values separately?
Tweaker Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Does anyone have any ideas or answers for my questions? I was told I would have a response in less than 48 hours, it has been 8 days now. Sorry for any confusion but I really would like to know if this will work for my needs.
