GranPaSmurf Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 How can I set Synergy to use only half the screen(or one screen in dual monitor setup)? I have 2 computers with dual monitors, it is inconvenient to slide over to one side of laptop to then get to a client machine.
Michael Gaskins Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 If anyone has a solution for this I'm looking for it too. I've got 2 monitors. The right "primary" monitor is on a KVM and is connected to my Windows and Linux machines. The left "secondardy" monitor is a 2nd screen to extend my Windows desktop. What I essentially want to do is that when I am on Linux, if I move off the left of the screen I want the cursor to transition to the 2nd screen of the Windows box - the primary screen can be completely ignored as I never need to control it from Synergy. Basically I just want the Synergy client to offer up the left hand screen. As it is when I move off screen on the Linux machine I have to pass through the non-visible primary screen before getting to the secondary screen.
