Steven F Wells
I was examining my task manager looking for something else when I noticed that synergyd.exe was using 15% of my CPU. That seems awfully high. If that is what it is supposed to be I may have to rethink my use of synergy to begin with. Someone please respond. Brian S.
Steven, you haven't given much information about your environment or use of Synergy. I don't know what Synergy version you use, what you were using Synergy for at the time (was it idling, were you on client screen, etc.?), how many systems are connected, and so forth. You haven't given information about your capacity on the computer (processor, RAM, etc.) where you're viewing the CPU usage. When I look at my Synergy processes right now on Linux, they are using altogether less than 1% CPU. There were Synergy versions which had issues with high CPU usage, depending on circumstances, but those issues have been fixed in later versions. - Brian
