Handle Multiple Network Interfaces better

Hi I'm having a frustrating time connecting two computers together via synergy2. During the beta, it didnt work at all. After release,
it sometimes works, sometimes not. Seems to be using the wrong network interfaces for the connection, one of the computers seems 
to be listening on 127.0.0.1 which is a bit pointless.

Can the end user have control over which network interface the computer communicates using?

My server has 3 addresses:

192.168.1.142,
192.168.0.156,
127.0.0.1

I know that synergy will work best on 192.168.1.142 but am unable to force the application to use that interface.
