moshen 0
Display Data Channel ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_Data_Channel ) can be used to switch monitor inputs on most monitors. Discussion on AutoHotKey for automating this: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/96884-change-monitor-input-source/ . Essentially, I want to be able to use Synergy as a true software KVM. It appears that this was brought up before here: But lacked technical detail.  This problem could also be solved by a config option that runs a script on hotkey press. I've been using Synergy 1 with AutoHotKey to get this working: https://moshen.net/posts/virtual_kvm/
Jonathan Booth 2
This would be the bomb! Especially if it worked with a linux host...

I don't see why not. There are plenty of linux utilities that do it, for example: http://ddccontrol.sourceforge.net/
Totolicious 0
+1 Oh boy this would be an awesome feature. I use Synergy on 2 different computers but with the same monitor. Whenever I switch, I have to change the input manually (I know I can achieve this using scripts but I must admit that I'm lazy)
