This is an absolute deal breaker as I use Synergy in an environment with no internet access. I hope that they can bring back such a vital feature to version 2 (as well as hotkeys). I rolled back to v1.8.8 (don't bother to ask support where to download it - go here https://sourceforge.net/projects/synergy-stable-builds/). As a network professional, take a look at what is being collected about your usage, it's not simply a cloud configuration... just heads up...
