jaap aarts 65
do you have a stable connection? does it still happen when you close all applications? if this is your internet connection then it might be fixed in 2.1, if it's not your internet connection @Nick Bolton should let someone who knows all the log stuff take a look at it. daxiang' 2
same issue. Cannot connect MAC to synergy since 2 hours ago
Naturofix 2
I'm still getting issues with Synergy 2 disconnection. Today I was using Synergy2 while the client was connected to a VPN, amazingly Synergy stayed connected. When the client lost connection I had to disconnect from the VPN to re-establish connection Server log : https://synergy-logs.symless.com/2017-11-09/6218-2017-11-09T10-47-15.log Client log : log was not produced, it just kept saying 'Uploading log... Dismiss', even when not connected to the VPN Edited November 9, 2017 by Naturofix

jaap aarts 65
it seems like the ubuntu client has some internet outages, just short periods where it doesnt have a connection to the mac. does it work without the vpn? if so try adding an exeption for synergy. openvpn can do it almost all vpn applications use openvp, although I dont know if they all support this, but usualy they provide manual openvpn config files. take a look at this: https://forums.openvpn.net/viewtopic.php?t=17744 replace the hotmail.com with the macs local IP addres.
