Mac terminal screen to Windoze pointer works but text sticks to Mac

Is there a way to be able to have a Mac Terminal window (full or partial screen size) open and take both the curser and keyboard input over to Windoze?  Only curser comes over, and typing stays in Mac Terminal window.  Mac Terminal is the only application where this happens for me (so far?).  Really irritating and the only flaw i have seen so far with wonderful Synergy!
