l3mur Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 I'm attempting to get RC1 Working with a manjaro (arch) host and Win10 client. host log: https://synergy-logs.symless.com/2017-11-04/10234-2017-11-04T11-41-04.log win10 log: https://synergy-logs.symless.com/2017-11-04/10234-2017-11-04T11-40-21.log Followed all the suggested steps in the documentation, re-installing, clearing out any old config, but nothing seems to work. When I right click on my machine (ac-mj) and select "share from ac-mj" I'm getting the error: WARNNIG: can't use an inactive machine to control the others" Other thoughts: installed using the AUR package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/synergy2-bin/ In documentation they're saying to start it with the command `synergyd`, but this package installs no such binary; this installs synergy-config synergy-core synergy-service synergy-tests and running synergy-config appears to start up core and service. seems correct, but Is this a problem?
Synergy Team Nick Bolton Posted November 4, 2017 Synergy Team Posted November 4, 2017 18 minutes ago, l3mur said: WARNNIG: can't use an inactive machine to control the others" We're working on a fix for that now. Stay tuned!
