SlowCredit Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I use 2 corporate VPNs and Hamachi. If I could configure which (local) IPs Synergy should use, all would be well. Most power users DO NOT WANT zero configuration. At least give me an intuitive way to get to a back-end self config. It's great when it works, but I find myself stopping/starting VPN and Synergy services multiple times per day.
C S Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Ditto to both the sentiment and the act of finding "stopping/starting VPN and Synergy services multiple times per day."
Sir Logic Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I would agree. Zero Conf is nice, but Manual Conf availability is mandatory. There are a lot of us who have edge case setups and we are smart enough to manually configure. I would say that a large amount of Synergy users are probably programmers and are well versed in manual configurations.
