Gaspar
Hello I purchased Synergy Basic and got that to work fine using my Windows 10 (server) laptop, and my Ubuntu 16.04 (client) laptop. I then upgraded to Synergy Pro to use SSL Encryption, but that does not work. When I check "Use SSL encryption" in the "Network Security" section of the "Settings" dialog box, and then restart the server I get the following, and I can no longer switch to the client. Log messages: [2017-10-20T11:23:51] INFO: OpenSSL 1.0.2 22 Jan 2015 [2017-10-20T11:23:51] ERROR: ssl error occurred (system call failure) [2017-10-20T11:23:51] ERROR: eof violates ssl protocol [2017-10-20T11:23:51] ERROR: failed to accept secure socket [2017-10-20T11:23:51] INFO: client connection may not be secure
Kathelwing
I had this same issue which turned out for me to be a firewall issue. Try turning off your firewall and see if it will connect. If it does, then you can add the exception to your firewall and turn it back on.
