Mike Pilat
Good morning everyone! I have a question... On my desk I have a Mac running 10.7 and my laptop running Windows 7. I have 2 monitors for my laptop and the one for my Mac. I also have a Mac Pro running 10.9.5 with one monitor. The first Mac and PC are on one network and the other Mac is on another network. Example... 10.10.5.5 and 10.10.10.5 The first Mac and PC connect just fine as the PC is the host and the Mac is the client. With the new upgrades lately I found that connecting to the PC from the Mac using the computer name and not the individual IP address works perfectly every time. With the other Mac on the other network I can't seem to get these two to connect. I've tried the CPU name and the IP address's listed on the server window of Synergy. Anyone have any ideas on how to get these to work together? Would I have to use an IP with the computer name? A different string all together or is this just not possible. Thanks!
