Archer Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Installed Beta 4 on two Macs. Went through the troubleshooting (no processes were running in the Activity Monitor). Every time I open Synergy 2 it asks for my password to "install helper" so I wonder if this is the issue. Also, I noticed the program quits when closing the window, I thought this was supposed to be resolved in Beta 4?

Can you try a sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Synergy.app/ ?
Synergy Team Nick Bolton Posted September 13, 2017 Synergy Team Posted September 13, 2017 Could you try deleting the Synergy app, emptying your trash, then rebooting? That should perform a cleanup. Then you can reinstall Synergy.
Archer Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Just deleted, restarted, and reinstalled on both machines. Machine #1 is "seeing" Machine #2 (though I hadn't reinstalled on Machine #2 at the time). Machine #2 still cannot see Machine #1.
