andyn
Hi, Just upgraded my v1 license to the v2 beta and noticed that it requires an online in-browser authentication. Is this just a beta requirement? Will it be possible to install the software in an airgapped NOC/SOC/TOC/control room environment where multi-monitor, multi-computer setups are ubiquitous? If not, will you provide a license server or allow running just the GPL'd parts from the command line?
IT Troll
As I understand it 100% offline will be command line only.
Synergy Team Nick Bolton Posted August 19, 2017 Synergy Team Share Posted August 19, 2017 Here are your options for air-gapped NOC/SOC/TOC/control room environments: 1) Buy an enterprise license. 2) Use the command line. Do either of those work for you?
andyn
As the configuration in said setups is effectively static (there won't be any roaming laptops, for instance), using the command line version will most probably solve the issue.
