I've been a Synergy user for a very long time and have been able to solve any issue I've had.  However, this one has me stumped. Everything works fine for about 15 minutes until both Server and Client lose the ability to use their clipboards.  Stopping the services on each machine restores the clipboard functions to the respective machine. Below in the log, you can see the final message.  Synergy owns the clipboard. 

I've even tried installing 32 bit versions and older versions, but the problem continues to occur.    

Connected to same switch which connects to single router for DHCP.  
Server: Win 7
Client: Win 7
SSH: False
Elevate: Always
Port: a few numbers above the default

I've had the same issues as Jeff.  Been using Synergy for years and this issue has persisted throughout.  Currently running v1.8.8-stable (Win10 x64).

The clipboard will initially sync between server & clients.  However after some time it eventually loses the ability.  I have to stop the service on the server and restart to resolve.

Same issue here, really starting to interfere with my workflow now and almost ready to ditch Synergy

I observed something that might be useful to add to this thread:

Been using Synergy v1.8.2 (May 2018) for a while with a simple Win10 -to- Win10 config. The clipboard issue has been a regular annoyance. Usually, just calling the synergy.exe UI on the server, and clicking 'Apply' to force a reset, is sufficient to solve the problem.

Today, even that trick didn't work, so I looked more closely, and observed the '(missequenced)' error. Using the 'Apply' trick on both machines failed to resolve the problem. 

Looked a little deeper at the Windows Task Manager process table on the *server* side. I noticed that the 'Apply' method appears to recycle the 'synergys.exe' process, but not the 'synergyd.exe' process. I used the Task Manager to kill both the 'synergys.exe' and the 'synergyd.exe' processes. After they both auto-restarted (in a matter or seconds), the clipboard resumed working okay.

BTW, owing to other applications I work with, I am long in the habit of hitting Ctrl-C twice to load the clipboard.

I'm having the same issues, also on Synergy 2.0.12. Maybe one could create a bat/ps1 script to kill the processes?
