Achim
Hi, I use Greenshot for screen shots, but the hot keys don't work with Synergy. My Synergy host is Ubuntu, Greenshot is on the Client with windows 10.https://github.com/greenshot/greenshot Any suggestions? Paul Suarez
Can you provide an example of a hot key @Achim. Also, if you execute that hotkey on your Window's machine, does it need to have the actual program be in focus?
Achim
Most important hot keys are the Print key (or "Druck" on my german keyboard) and Ctrl-Print (Strg-Druck). Greenshot does not need to be in focus. It sits in the background, waiting for hot keys being pressed. When a hot key is pressed, Greenshot starts to take a screen shot. With the Print-key it lets the user select a region to save as an image file. With Ctrl-Print it saves the actual focused window as an image file. I could also define other hot keys in Greenshot. Can you recommend hot keys that work good in such a setting?
Achim
I changed the hot keys to Ctrl-W for a screenshot of a window and Ctrl-R for a screenshot of a rectangular area. This works.
