I have been running Synergy with Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) as the server, and this has worked for some time. When I attempted the upgrade to the latest version I get the following when attempting to launch the software. the Pop-up says: synergy.exe - System error The program can't start because mingwm10.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I have reinstalled several times, each time attempting something different. I have disabled the Firewall, and auto-sandbox as well. What else can I do to install this, or debug the installation? Thank you.

Unfortunately, the file is missing from the installation, and I cannot seem to get it there. I have posted a snapshot of the folder with it's contents. Thank you.

I had the same problem... For make it work, I extract "mingwm10.dll" et "libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll" from the install file "synergy-v1.7.3-stable-efd0108-Windows-x64" with 7zip. Note : I had to change the name of "libgcc_s_dw2_1.dll" to "libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll"

did you rename the file after wards?

Ok, so renaming the installed Library (from the zip image) does help, but because the installation failed, you end up missing other DLLs. I don't know why, but this is also included in the 1.7.3 stable release as well. Is this a NEW Feature? OMG! Here are the images I find in the application which needs the file to be renamed in order to run. What is going on here??

This never happened for me. My Win7 x64 box prompted for an upgrade on May 26. Here are the md5sums for the files installed:
fb398d88ff38a97e069e9dfb44d84fc6 Synergy/QtCore4.dll 37450010861bf4bcda36018adce202e2 Synergy/QtGui4.dll a58bc88bd84d6d2325ca2475f94afa37 Synergy/QtNetwork4.dll 3cdf5cfd1ac2317c06fa6a5217e56ed0 Synergy/dnssd.dll dd5ea2fe31fe9ea03b980bfe798bc60b Synergy/libeay32.dll c4b4409f186da70fcf2bcc60d5f05489 Synergy/libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll dbda60d92e774b4acb3b1cd71f909426 Synergy/mingwm10.dll 721557a7c8857a79d5289d3bfb3739b0 Synergy/ssleay32.dll 61117b63c34c346391145fcbd4998105 Synergy/synergy.exe ecd1b29237130dee7083fa4a7193653f Synergy/synergyc.exe fa04645610aeaa5cc2b92fbad62bf296 Synergy/synergyd.exe 074c52d8c3a8c9ca7ea98073b92003bf Synergy/synergyd.log 680effe39fefe367a82de862fd827404 Synergy/synergys.exe b28c3bb7a14441c8ddb072be89ac446e Synergy/syntool.exe 9dc05a646f11311a3e1d9324fef18be2 Synergy/synwinhk.dll
Can anyone with this problem verify that your files are not corrupt?
