Manually Uninstall 1.4.17 due to Explorer.exe crashing

Is there any information on how to manually uninstall Synergy v1.4.17? My PC has become very unstable with Explorer.exe crashing at startup due to a fault with msvcr100.dll 

So far i have tried the following:

• replace all msvcr100.dll files
• manually delete the synergy install folder, service, and registry entries - it still shows up in installed programs but crashes every time i try to uninstall it from there
• disable service at startup
• clean boot
• attempting to upgrade to latest version but it does the same as when i try to uninstall it.
• uninstalling and re-installing all versions of MS Visual C++ (32 and 64bit)
