Error Code: 4

It was almost impossible to grab the log file because it was flying back and I couldn't' get it to stop but I barely grabbed it.

I just installed (first time ever) server on Mac OS X Sierra and client on Windows 10

I have yet to get these to connect and today I'm getting this message and I've attached a screenshot

I believe so. You can see the selected options above. I've attached the other two screen shots for those screens here

The screens on that interface represents the machine itself. If you have multiple monitors on each machine, you should configure how it is set on your local machine and not from Synergy's interface. Remove the other screens there and make sure that the 2 screens has one side touching each other. That would provide an entry point for the mouse to enter and leave each screen.

Removed all but the two systems. Server positioned above the client.

At first I was recieving this in rapid repeat:

I did but for some reason its still looking for it. I put .local back on the computer name and everything decided to magically work. I honestly have no idea lol Thank you all though! f

My best guess would be it didn't like it's position being below the server (where it physically sits monitor wise). I relocated it to the right of the server and fixed the .local and now it works fine. The mouse is very glitchy; however, but it is now connected.

It's like the sensitivity is extremely high or non-existent at moments. I normal motion (on my server system) to click on something jumps it about 300pixels (rough guess) on the client system.

It will scroll fine for a second, then jump, then scroll fine, then jump. It's weird.

Can you try using v1.9? You can get it from Download Synergy 1.9-rc3 (Fixes the macOS WiFi lag bug) forums thread. It would be best to uninstall the current version first and reboot machines before installing v1.9.

Let us know how it goes.

Uninstalled 1.8 and installed via your link and holy cow what a difference! No lag when scrolling to the monitors at all, and just. Yes :) Now it flows like its all one system. Thank you so much!

Edit: Side note that I just noticed as well. In the previous version the icon would not stay in the launch bar, only in menu bar. Now it sits, without twitching like an idiot, in the launchbar as well.

You're welcome @Giga;)

Can you post your side note on the forums thread for v1.9? This will help us better track the comments and suggestions for it.
