Connectivity issues from pc server to mac client

Hi,

I just purchased basic level software of Synergy. My pc has the mouse and keyboard and i am trying to use them with my mac. However, this is not working. My PC server setup is working correctly. It says it status is ok. But when trying to connect to the server from my mac, it says "failed to connect to server: Timed out."

Can anyone help me with this?
