I want to switch up and have my MacBook Pro as server then PC's as clients. Its not working, how do I solve this? Thanks.
Paul Suarez
Stop Synergy on all of the machines first Set MacBook Pro as server and the other machines as clients Set the Server Configuration on your server machine. You can refer to Getting started with Synergy knowledge base article for the proper way of setting it up Start the server first. ***Use a screen name that doesn't contain any special characters (@, #, $, -, etc...) on it. Yiani
I did these steps and nothing. I had my hypens(-) in the computer names for all 3 systems but changed them to without hypens. Maybe the mac just can't be set to be a server? I tried to delete Synergy off the mac and try to do a fresh install but I can't seem to completely delete Synergy from mac. Paul Suarez
Please post screenshots of each machine's Synergy interface so that we could better understand what's happening. Also, please include a screenshot of the Server Configuration interface on your server machine.
