Mouse cursor jumps back to master after Windows UAC/

I am experiencing a minor issue with Synergy.  I am using it with two computers - a linux box (the master computer) and a windows box (windows 10).  The issue is when bringing the computers out of password protected screensavers.  Both computers will be in screensaver mode, I type in my password for the linux box and get my desktop.  I then mouse over to the windows box with no problems and activate the password box.  When the password box shows, the mouse jumps back to linux box and I cannot mouse back for about 3 to 4 seconds.  After typing in the password, the same problem occurs (mouse jumping back).  The desktop on the windows box does show.  It seems as if the screensaver (possibly UAC) kills the communication with the master on the linux box and I have to wait until the communications is re-established.

Is there a solution to this issue?

Can you try elevating the Windows machine first?

1. Click Edit
2. Click Settings
3. Under Elevate, set it to Always
4. Click OK
5. Click Apply/Start
