can't go to 2nd pc after scrensaver

Hello! I am having an issue where when my computers go into screensaver mode I can no longer mouse onto the 2nd computer - I have to restart synergy server side in order to connect to the client again it is win8.1 pro on the server and win 8.1 on the 2nd comp(laptop) am I not seeing a setting or something that could be a simple fix for this? any help is great thanks

I still have this issue or similar. It is when the server PC (win7) goes into screen lock and the mouse was on the other screen. When I try to unlock, I don't have any keyboard input. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del the client pc (win7) (just to get to the lock menu), then the mouse appears on the server screen again, but sometimes I still need to cancel the login and Ctrl+_alt+del on the server to get access to keyboard input so I can login.
