Hi there,

I had this issue with another customer yesterday, these are some steps you can follow:

  1. Rename your client braedon-Satellite-P755 to braedonSatelliteP755, this needs to be done at system level, then you need to restart your computer.
  2. At Synergy Server click on Configure Server, then remove your client by Dragging it to the Trash Can. After that, add the screen again but instead of using the name, use the IP Address of your client.
  3. Try again.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

How do I rename the client?

Oh wait I got it. It was confused because I still had my laptop (when it was running windows) set up under the same IP address as my laptop(now running linux)

That's great! I'm glad it worked!
