Gareth Jones Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 I have a new pc - Windows 10 with a kick butt cpu etc and am connecting to my Linux Laptop (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.7 (Santiago) ). I have turned off SSL connections - had too many problems with it - and i get connected and will stay connected for an indeterminate amount of time. Sometimes it happens when the laptop makes a beep. sometimes when I try doing a cut and paste between machines. Also - usually before it fails - the cut and paste stops working too. Once that happens - a lot of the time - the only fix is to reboot both boxes to get cut and paste to work again. Other times - starting and stopping the synergy on the laptop fixes everything. Server is windows - client is linux. Version is 1.7.5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't get the "Server is dead message any more and the cut and paste now stays working... Thanks for fixing this most annoying bug! Now - to see if I can reenable ssl...
