Gareth Jones Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I have a new pc - Windows 10 with a kick butt cpu etc and am connecting to my Linux Laptop (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.7 (Santiago) ). I have turned off SSL connections - had too many problems with it - and i get connected and will stay connected for an indeterminate amount of time. Sometimes it happens when the laptop makes a beep. sometimes when I try doing a cut and paste between machines. Also - usually before it fails - the cut and paste stops working too. Once that happens - a lot of the time - the only fix is to reboot both boxes to get cut and paste to work again. Other times - starting and stopping the synergy on the laptop fixes everything. Server is windows - client is linux. Version is 1.7.5
Gareth Jones Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 I have upgraded to 1.7.6 on both my linux and windows 10 Client. It is now working! Don't get the "Server is dead message any more and the cut and paste now stays working... Thanks for fixing this most annoying bug! Now - to see if I can reenable ssl...
