Spencer Heckathorn
I have a windows 10 64x as the server. I have a imac 10.7.5 They will not connect. I have run the "Wizard" and signed in on both several times. As you can see from one of the errors below it says on the mac that the plugin failed to load. 1st strange errors: The server gives errors like:
[2016-02-17T16:21:24] NOTE: accepted client connection [2016-02-17T16:21:30] ERROR: ssl error occurred (system call failure) [2016-02-17T16:21:30] ERROR: eof violates ssl protocol [2016-02-17T16:21:30] WARNING: failed to accept secure socket
The Client gives errors like:
[2016-02-17T16:44:48] WARNING: failed to connect to server: Timed out [2016-02-17T16:44:49] NOTE: connecting to '192.168.50.1': 192.168.50.1:24800
2nd Strange thing: The Server IP is 192.168.1.13 Synergy Pro reports: IP addresses:
169.254.108.144, 169.254.36.71, 192.168.50.1, 192.168.1.13
Here the Client tries to connect to the bolded address when put into "Auto Config" mode. If I try to connect to the actual IP of 192.168.1.13 I get new errors. 3rd Strange Problem: Connecting to the true IP gives me new errors Server errors:
[2016-02-17T16:51:12] WARNING: failed to accept secure socket [2016-02-17T16:51:14] NOTE: accepted client connection
Client errors:
[2016-02-17T16:50:41] INFO: starting client [2016-02-17T16:50:41] INFO: config file: /var/folders/rc/7dcwxd017_vbcplnt5pvq5g00000gn/T/Synergy.B84704 [2016-02-17T16:50:41] INFO: log level: INFO [2016-02-17T16:50:42] INFO: drag and drop enabled [2016-02-17T16:50:42] NOTE: crypto disabled because of ns plugin not available [2016-02-17T16:50:42] NOTE: started client [2016-02-17T16:50:42] NOTE: connecting to '192.168.1.13': 192.168.1.13:24800 [2016-02-17T16:50:42] ERROR: failed to load plugin 'libns.dylib', error: dlopen(/Users/imacintosh/Library/Synergy/Plugins/libns.dylib, 1): Symbol not found: _NXArgv Referenced from: /Users/imacintosh/Library/Synergy/Plugins/libns.dylib Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib in /Users/imacintosh/Library/Synergy/Plugins/libns.dylib 2016-02-17 16:50:42.189 synergyc[85169:507] starting cocoa loop [2016-02-17T16:50:52] NOTE: disconnected from server [2016-02-17T16:50:53] NOTE: connecting to '192.168.1.13': 192.168.1.13:24800 [2016-02-17T16:51:04] NOTE: disconnected from server
Spencer Heckathorn
I still have the same issue. I think I can say that it must have something to do with the iMac 10.7.5 because I have been able to use linux server to windows client, and windows server to windows client with no issue. somnium
Hello, I am using a windows 10 server with a mac os x 10.11.3 client without any problem. Now I do wonder if this could have something to do with the build you are using and that it infact is "old" OS. Did you use the right build for the right version? Just a precaution question that is. There has been updates for os x regarding SSL and how that works. So I wonder also if it could be the old version of openssl that is installed in the OS. I use everything with a SSL connection and that seems to work just fine.
