Why is the thread locked on github? How do we get some momentum on getting wayland supported/working?

not sure when wayland support is planned, but linux is moving pretty fast in that direction. Doesn't effect me at the moment, but I'm sure my next upgrade will see wayland on my computer either alone or alongside X. Either way X is clearly on its way out.

What is the state of Wayland support? It was promised in 2017. now it'll be 2023. next month. This is an essential feature! What is going on?

I'd be more than happy if Symless came out with a separate "enhanced edition" that includes Wayland support and I would happily auy another license for it. I bought the previous license quite long ago and I got more than my money's worth from it.

Still mid-2018, but it'll be 2.1 instead.
