  3. Resolved by manually installing the package from here: https://packages.debian.org/jessie/amd64/libssl1.0.0/download apparently it has to be 1.0.0 exactly and not as the error message says libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0)

  4. Yeap, that works. Sorry about that. EDIT: Sorry for the triple post. It only gave me an edit option on this last post.

  5. Try going to the Edit menu -> Settings and uncheck "Use SSL encryption", click OK before re-enabling it again. That seems to force Synergy into regenerating SSL certs whenever they go strangely go missing.

  6. For all those still having this issue (like me) and can't get Version 1.8.8 which fixes the issue (as they've taken it down everywhere!) here is a link!! Solution: http://x.co/synergydl

  7. So where does this leave those of us who paid for Synergy 2? I can assure you, I would not have paid $50 for a beta product. This app has been completely unstable since I purchased it and it hasn't improved with each release. When it does work, promised features aren't there (such as copying files between terminals) and "working" features often don't work (copy and paste).

  8. hI!! Just to say it does work. I didn't create an additional configuration file. It can be achieved with the "Interactive Configuration" dialog box. Thanks guys!

  9. Figured out a workaround. use the interactive config tool and when done, take a copy of the temp one linked in the running log file, make the changes you need and then switch from interactive to "use existing" and use the new saved config file. It's such a stupid way to go about it but it works.

  10. Hi, It's fixed. The client was in Wayland (server in Xorg). Once I switched the client to Xorg the mouse pointer was visible again. Cheers,
