  1. This only appears to happen in my work machine where i have Visual Studio installed an open most of the time, both machines are running windows 10 and both are connected via wired Ethernet. I have my laptop next to me on my desk that is the client to my work computer. It often happens that when i go to click something on the laptop, the click does not register. The mouse will move and if i hover over a program in the task bar i can see the app snapshot pop up but clicking does nothing.   3. Well, you caught me. I used the free version for years and a couple of years ago, I began to feel guilty about that. The developers have done a great job. So I purchased the Pro version simply to support the developers. I think however the free version still does exactly the same thing. The reason for my 'intentional misrepresentation' is to not turn folks away from making use of the app. Or another 3rd party uninstaller. Nick says what I'm doing is unnecessary but It's been part of my routine since the early beta Synergy versions. I think it saves me time. So, maybe try the free ve

  4. Hey Joe, I'm pretty sure the new version of synergy supports stopping the service built into the program now. Right clicking on the app in the tray on windows gives you the option to stop the service. Sometimes if the synergy app isn't running you have to open it first then you can disable it in the tray.   5. I've also found that version 1.9.1 is asking for "Requires libstdc++.so.6(GLIBC_2.14)(64Bit) on a Centos 6 (64) machine - I have V1.8.8 running, but wanted to upgrade it....
