  1. I just wanted to confirm, that I was having the exact same issue between two machines running Windows 10 April update 1803. Upon reading this forum post, I tested a few different scaling configurations. I found that so long as the server display that connects to the client display is scaled to 100% then it works. In the attached photo the 4K displays are connected to the server, the 3K display is a laptop acting as a client. So long as the server display with the * is set to 100% scaling, then Synergy works normally, however if it is anything more than 100% then the mouse switches to

  2. Why do you guys insist on making everything automatic when that's clearly a point of frustration for so many of us? I was eagerly waiting for this update since I bought Synergy 2 last December, only to realize that proxy authentication and configuration is not supported (something which I think you should mention somewhere in your page, seeing as how a lot of people rely on proxy functionality, instead of baiting unsuspecting buyers). When I contacted support about this they said the proxy support was going to be released in a few days, and they asked me if I could wait a bit instead

  3. Still testing this solution (still using 1.9.1), but here's what I did to reconcile Synergy with libcurl4 on Ubuntu 18.04: Downloaded the appropriate Synergy package. Unarchived the package, then unarchived the resulting control.tar.gz, all so I can edit the control file: $ ar x synergy_1.9.1.stable_b327+2a0225c1_amd64.deb $ tar zxvf control.tar.gz $ vim control Modify the control file, removing libcurl3 with libcurl4 (>= 7.58.0) Package: synergy Version: 1.9.1.stable~b327+2a0225c1 Architecture: amd64 Maintainer: Symless <engineering@symless.

  4. Thanks Dreamer, I don't know why I did not think of reverting back to v2.0.9. I just assumed that Microsoft had done something major to its latest update (especially with the sharper text scaling) that broke Synergy. I even uninstalled Synergy completely from both computers including Registry values etc. Rebooted and re-installed v2.0.10, but that did not resolve my issues with the mouse cursor disappearing if I changed the size of text in the Display Settings. Following your suggestion, I simply uninstalled Synergy and re-installed v2.0.9 on both PCs and, lo and behold, everything works

  5. After the Windows 10 April update (synergy "master" machine) the behavior is as follows: - when moving the mouse cursor to macOS ("slave" machine) on the windows machine the mouse cursor jumps to the center of the screen - on macOS the cursor is locked in the bottom corner of the screen, there's no mouse movement at all - I cannot go back to the windows machine until I connect a mouse to the mac and move it or if I stop synergy on the mac. I've reinstalled Synergy 2.0.10 on both windows and mac and restarted the systems, but the issue persists. Temporary solution: uninstalling

  6. Just purchased version 2 as a part of the sale and found this out too. This is an absolute deal breaker as I use Synergy in an environment with no internet access. I hope that they can bring back such a vital feature to version 2 (as well as hotkeys). Until then I'll be using v1 (Funny they call it legacy, its much more capable...)
