  1. 2.0.10 is also the first release for me that has got me back to a fully-functionining setup with my three systems. (Previously I had the 'continually connecting' animationg, but the connection never completed.) Very happy finally to be back at this point!

  2. I've been running 2.0.10 for a few days now and it suddenly dawned on me that the Graphical User Interface is significantly improved. I'm kinda' like the canary in the coal mine when a new version is released. If something can go wrong, it'll happen to me. So, unless I need a screen, I usually leave the UI up so I can watch what is happening with Synergy. My setup of 5 machines includes Linux, Win 10, Win 7, 64 bit and 32 bit, wired and wireless. In past versions, the information one could see on the UI was often unreliable. Like showing the 'connecting' animation constantly when it

  3. Better Status Indicators (Grey vs Green PC doesn't mean much - especially when 1 pc isnt connected and just shows grey). Better error messages (unable to connect to cloud / unable to bind to port / unable to auth / whatever) Obvious place for error messages / upload logs / open support ticket directly from the UI Remove all context menus and secret-handshakes (Shift-F5/Alt-S/Right Click Context Menus are all HORRIBLE UI/UX Design) Collapsable output window like the 1.9 UI had so you can see as machines connect/disconnect (I am getting a lot of odd behaviors with 2.0.1

  4. I've been struggling since the betas (I use the term loosely; I'm lazy, it didn't work, I went back to 1.8) to get Synergy 2 to work as well because of similar issues, but doing an uninstall and manual purge of ProgramData, AppData\Local, and Registry before doing an install resolved the issue for me as well. I'm running the latest stable now. FWIW, also, I really dislike the new interface.

  5. Yeah. The "it just works" autoconfig is lovely until "it just doesn't work". I'm getting really frustrated with the simplicity of this application and the seemingly completely lacking ability to configure or customize anything. Is there a way to prevent all these connections going to 45.55.221.2 and apt-test.cloud.symless.com also? My security guy is going to throw a hissy fit pretty soon. Back to version 1 again.

  6. Sorry that you're having problems. Have you contacted our support team yet? https://symless.com/contact/customer-supportIf you'd rather get help here on the forums, that's fine too. Please, could you share your log links for all of your computers? Often people can only help you troubleshoot if you share your log links. Please make sure you share only the actual log links (not the log file contents). 7. Synergy 1 or 2? With Synergy 2, using the mouse and keyboard on a machine should cause it to automatically take over the master role. You may have to actually click the mouse button, just moving the mouse doesn't always do it. If that doesn't work, open the Synergy app, double click on the Mac and choose "Share from". With Synergy 1, you have to manually change the configuration on both machines.
