  1. Hi just wanted to say I have been pretty unhappy with version 2 over 1 in general but the last few updates have made massive improvements in stability and reliability for me....keep doing what you are doing, you are winning me back!

  2. I'll echo ScotCyGuy's comment. I tried Synergy 2 in the beta and with 2.0.1, 2.0.2, and 2.0.4 but always had to go back to Synergy 1 for any real stability. With 2.0.8 things are definitely better. I know there are still issues (and always will be) but just wanted to say that it is definitely working better.

  3. I was able to complete the sign-in process simply by setting XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP to GNOME: XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME synergy-config

  4. Glad you're seeing the results of all that work. Thanks for the kind words - it's nice to hear from a happy camper!

  5. Sorry for the absense and thank you for your response. I installed Synergy2, and all of the stuff I needed works well in current release. Thanks again!

  6. Synergy 2.07 allows the use of 'scroll-lock' to keep the cursor on whatever screen you want. Hotkey mapping is planned for version 2.1 that is still expected around May. As for 'don't take foreground...' , I haven't even seen it being discussed.

  7. Hey, we were building unofficially for Raspberry Pi, but this was dropped. We may reintroduce it in future.
