  1. On OSX , ~/Library/Logs/<AppName>/ or /Library/Logs/<App Name>/ are the right places for log files, not ~/Library/AppName/logfile.log. This .../Library/Logs/<AppName> is where many people will expect them, the built-in Console app will be able to find and search for them there, etc.

  2. Same story here, I upgraded for additional features and wound up losing all of them. Very disappointing and am probably going to wind up going back.

  3. This is very disappointing. I upgraded from 1 basic to 2 Pro and I feel like it's more basic than 1.

  4. I'm on the same boat... I have been using Synergy for years, I upgraded and now I'm lost!... I have been seriously thinking of downgrading to version 1. s there any way for us to configure our systems manually?

  5. Hi Siphon, I just made it work by running the core like this (as the user, not root.): /usr/bin/synergy-core --server -f --run-as-uid 1000 --debug DEBUG --name archlinux --enable-drag-drop --profile-dir /var/lib/synergy --log /var/log/synergy/synergy-core.log -c /var/lib/synergy/synergy.conf --address :24800 I stopped the service. I ran the synergy-core --server I started the service. I use "share from" on the windows computer. I will try to update the synergy.service file.

  6. Working on a windows version Here's a mac script - save it as UninstallSynergy2.sh, and open terminal - chmod 755 it, ( use at your own risk ) and run "sudo .\UninstallSynergy2.sh"

  7. Drag and drops are not working on my machine. I have a Windows 10 Home PC and a MacOS 10.12.2 Machine. Both have Synergy installed and it's working except the drag n' drop part. Can't drag a file from Windows to Mac and vice versa, this is applicable to all kinds of files. .txt files, .sgc files, etc.. The log doesn't even recognise I dragged a file.
