  1. I've had this issue with last four releases (now running RC2). The Mac GUI launches fine the first time but after that it will not relaunch. Keyboard and mouse sharing works fine it is just the GUI which isn't visible. Are others seeing the same or is it something peculiar to my setup?

  2. Agree with @wunderdojo. Synergy is a game changer in my office, so naturally I wanted to try the latest version. 1.x was quirky, but once you got the config right it worked every time and was fit for a production environment. I paid for the 2.0 beta and left it on the shelf when it didn't work. Then I tried again once I saw a 'stable' version had been released. It didn't work either. Glad it's working for some folks but this is not ready for primetime. I'm back on 1.8.

  3. I'm using synergy 1 pro version. I can't find the upgrading feature in pricing page. Do I have to pay all money again for the new version or is that anything like upgrading discount like all others do in the world? Finally, should I have to upgrade? I can't find any reason to upgrade. Is it better security?

  4. @KringleKrebs I appreciate that -- and I'd never disrespect Santa For a lot of people who use Synergy it's in a set up where they're dependent on it working. For example, in my office I have a desktop with keyboard and mouse attached and multiple machines that don't have anything connected. Given that problems started back in Sept. and they're saying the solution will (hopefully) be available sometime in 2018 that's six or more months that I'm left hanging. All I'm suggesting is that when something goes wrong PR 101 is to jump out in front of it. They made significant changes to the pro

  5. I've wasted much time on this same error. Support seems to have no answer besides issuing a refund. I think I'll try version 1.8 before going for the refund. Unsure what "stable" means. Neither 2.0.0-stable nor 2.0.1-stable worked for me (2 different machines).

  6. It's a known bug, we're working on it. The workaround is to run this from Terminal: open -n /Applications/Synergy.app macOS is confusing the core for the config app, so it thinks it's already open.
