  1. Just wanted to mention my observations to from running Beta 4 on Windows 10.... I have discovered that everywhere I have installed it, I have had to specifically allow ports 24800 and 24810 before it will work with the firewall turned on... even Synergy 2.0 is specifically white listed in the Windows firewall for both public and private networks... It seems to have trouble recognizing a network change. For example when I hibernate my laptop and de-hibernate in a new location connected to a new network, it still thinks it is on the old network. I have tried restarting the service,

  2. I need to download the latest version working on Mountain Lion 10.8.5 . If I remember well it was 1.83 or 1.82?! But I can't find those files anywhere on your site now... thx, raphael

  3. Just wanted to post this in case it helps others. I found that if I added all the Synergy 2 processes (synergy2.exe, synergyc.exe, synergyd.exe, synergys.exe) to Windows Firewall (in both public and private networks), I was able to connect with my MBP laptops. It only worked having all of them added. By default only some of them get added.

  4. I posted about this back in September when beta4 was first released. But that will have dropped down the thread list now. I took a look at Ilya's file. It is fine and doesn't contain anything bad. However it does add exceptions for both the programs and the port. It is not necessary to do both. My preference is to add program exceptions. I have added some additional information to the sticky.

  7. Thanks, Finally got it to work. Can confirm, you need to add both outbound & inbound rules for port 24810, on both (all) computers. And, yeah, you'd have to be an idiot to disable firewall completely.
